and export cargo at Indian Airports is 3 ~ 5 days as compared 6 ~12 hrs in some
leading airports.
Cargo operators have
also been facing problem over the state of customs clearing and delivery of cargo
. Indian airports have some of the worst turn around time for air freight. We are
still for behind in handling air cargo as compared to airports in Singapore , Hongkong
and Dubai where air cargo is cleared in 2 Hours. Infrastructure alone is not to
be blamed , Documentation process is also too complex.
